Final Bachelor project
Post-bachelor
In September I will start my FBP which will be the final piece of the puzzle to finish the bachelor of Industrial Design. Within my FBP, I want to combine my interest in festivals and experience design with the expertises of industrial design. I want to do my project within Artifice, because there I will get the freedom to do this type of project.
Within my FBP, I want to develop my storytelling skills as main base for experience design, and create a strong visual language throughout the project, aiming to improve my presentations. Additionally I want to apply previous learned technical skills and further develop these- and learn new skills. In addition to this, I want to develop my academic integrity by having a more scientific reasoning for design actions. This applies to all expertise areas and skills, where a more academically grounded approach could strengthen my design quality.
If it all goes to plan, this means I will finish my Bachelor in February, after which I will take a half year to take part in extracurricular activities for example: Next year, within Industrial Designs study association LUCID, the lustrum year will take place with a Lustrum edition of Conduct Festival. I want to contribute to the organization of this festival, to gain experience in event organization and build on my portfolio.
For now I think I will continue my studies with the master of Industrial Design at TU/e, which I will than start in September 2027 to match the normal curriculum. This delay will give me plenty of time to also compare the master with other masters. If certain job opportunities arise, I might start working after my bachelor.
